I co-wrote Beyond Cracking the Coding Interview!

Great news! Okay, I’m late to the announcement party, but if you haven’t heard yet, I’m writing a soon-to-be-released book!

I’ve teamed up with Aline Lerner (from interviewing.io) and Nil Mamano (a fellow Googler) to help Gayle Laakmann McDowell write an official sequel for Cracking the Coding Interview. We’re calling it Beyond Cracking the Coding Interview.

This isn’t a reskinned edition of the classic–it is a total remake from the ground up and we’re excited about it!

We’ve expanded the content significantly in this new edition, introducing at least thirteen (possibly more—writing is still ongoing!) fresh technical topics and over 150 brand-new problems. Each problem is accompanied by detailed step-by-step explanations, and you can practice them using our genuinely effective AI Interviewer. This project is a collaboration with interviewing.io, leveraging insights from over 100,000 FAANG mock interviews conducted on the platform. Plus, we’ve included hundreds of real interview recordings from interviewing.io (shared with full permission) so you can observe common mistakes and avoid making them yourself.
